On October 6th, 2020 a webinar entitled «Agricultural Taxation in the EU: Lessons for Ukraine»  was organized by the Agriculture Committee of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and supported by the German-Ukrainian project Agritrade Ukraine (ATU)

The changes that have taken place in recent years, as well as a number of legislative initiatives registered in the Verkhovna Rada, were discussed by representatives of agribusiness, producer associations, farmers and small rural enterprises. The goal of the event was to initiate a discussion on the need to improve the taxation system for the agri-food sector, taking into account the best world and European practices. One of the speakers at this event was Professor Dieter Kirschke, professor, Humboldt University of Berlin and attached is the report he prepared on the topic in advance of the webinar.
